Hotel Chain Palace Resorts has announced a restructure in its global marketing team; Kathy Halpern, Cessie Cerrato and Michelle Catin have all been promoted from within with Peter Baedita, Juan Zuluaga and Kelly Liszt also joining the team.
Halpern has been promoted to vice president of global marketing, during her seven year tenure with Palace Resorts. She has served as vp of marketing, leading the company’s branding and marketing efforts in the United States. The new role will see Halpern oversee all marketing efforts.
Catin has been promoted to senior director of marketing, supporting all digital and traditional marketing, as well as social media efforts. She has more than 13 years experience in public relations, e-commerce, and digital marketing, servicing travel, consumer packaged goods, and technology industries.
Cerrato has been promoted to vice president of public relations. In her new role she will lead the Palace Resorts public relations team, overseeing brand’s the brand’s global communication strategies which include media outreach, crisis management influencer marketing outreach, media relations, celebrity outreach and event activations.
Baedita has joined as creative director, with more than 25 years experience helping companies grow their brand and bottom line both internally and at national advertising agencies. He has previously worked at Norwegian Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruises and DDB Miami.
Zuluaga joins the team as digital marketing manager, overseeing project management including the trafficking of all digital pieces, as well as inbound and outbound marketing for both Palace Resorts and Le Blanc Spa Resorts.
Liszt has been appointed senior copywriter, bringing more than 20 years of writing and editing experience. She has previously worked at Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, InterContinental Hotel Group.
Halpern said: “The global team enables us to communicate information through one cohesive pipeline and it gives us better control in terms of sending out our messaging on a timely basis.”
